Released 25 years ago today. I saw this one in the theater and remembered loving it. That spring my friend Jon and I would constantly quote Bill and Ted lines to each other.

Alien Vintage Jumbo Figure from Gentle Giant
This figure is a 24″ version of the original 18″ Alien toy released in conjunction with the 1977 film. That original toy was easy to break and in later years was/is difficult to find in mint condition. I’ve wanted one of these since I saw one in the late 1970s and got really excited when I saw Gentle Giant a version of this toy.
That was until I saw the price.
The “special introductory” price on these is $400 and they’ll regularly retail for $500! Yikes! Even the introductory price is at least several hundred dollars out of my price range. Oh well, at least I have the ReAction Alien figure set. 😉
