For a while I was really into this movie — I bought it on VHS and everything! I’m not sure how it holds up 20 years later since it’s been quite a while since the last time I’ve see The Frighteners, but 20 years ago I remember this one as being a really fun movie directed by a pre-The Lord of the Rings Peter Jackson that was overlooked then and is still overlooked now.
