Pennzoil and M2M?!
Last night, I saw an advertisement for PENNZOIL that featured MISSION TO MARS. Essentially, PENNZOIL was running a promotion, much like DR. PEPPER, in which you could win M2M inspired merchandise and other products by buying PENNZOIL. Unfortunately, I know little else about this promotion. 3.22.00

M2M Number two at the box office
Last week, MISSION TO MARS was number two at the box office, earning $10.9 million dollars. So far, M2M has earned just over $40 million dollars at the box office. 3.22.00

Mission to Mars, Australia
Since the movie M2M doesn't open "down under" for another month or so, there's a whole new site designed just for the opening of the movie. Unlike the American version of the site, the Australian one features a downloadable screen saver and a new contest to win prizes for the movie. (Trust me, it's quiet easy to win the contest as long as you've already seen the movie)! 3.19.00

I'm not sure if the logo for the movie's been changed for the overseas release or if this logo has been specifically made for the web site. 3.19.00

Dateline State of the Art
Recently, the television show DATELINE featured a segment on part of the making of the movie M2M. This segment, which was only a few minutes long, featured images from the movie and some content about the work that went into the movie. 3.18.00
