Good
news from Australia
There
was an awesome message in my inBox this morning
from the Australian M2M web site. My only problem
is that a) I'm probably not going to receive my
"prizes" because I'm not a resident of
Australia or New Zealand and b) even if I do receive
my mousepad and/or ticket, I'm not going to spend
several thousand dollars to fly half way around
the world to see a movie that I've already seen
twice in the U.S. Oh well. I guess I can't ever
say "I never win anything" again! 3.25.00
This
is the message that I received:
Thank you for visiting the
Australian MISSION TO MARS website at www.missiontomars.com.au.
You are soon to be the recipient
of MISSION TO MARS prizes...
MISSION LOG 0800 HOURS.
CONGRATULATIONS!!
You have won a "MISSION
TO MARS" mouse pad and preview ticket to the
upcoming blockbuster, starring Tim Robbins, Gary
Sinise, Don Cheadle, Connie Nielsen and Jerry O'Connell.
Your mission, is to forward your postal address
in the next 24 hours so that your prize can be sent
to you as soon as possible.
The MISSION TO MARS production
team worked very closely with NASA for over a year
on the film, relying on the expertise of a number
of invaluable consultants, including NASA representative
Bobbie Faye Ferguson, former astronaut Story Musgrave
(the longest-serving astronaut who holds the record
for space walking hours) and Joe Allen, all of who
spent a great deal of time on the set, liaising
with the filmmakers and cast on a number of points
of authenticity. This collaboration is what makes
the film you are about to see, so unique. "MISSION
TO MARS" is in cinemas on April 6, 2000.
Tell your friends!
