April 2000 issue of SCI FI features an article
and several images from the M2M movie. The
image to the is a new image that has yet to
appear on the official site but does appear
in several television commercials for the
movie. Here's some back story behind the image:
During the flight of MARS 2, the second manned
MISSION TO MARS and the rescue mission for
MARS 1, something
terrible occurs. The crew of Mars 1 is
forced to abandon ship and make their way
to a resupply ship, the R.E.M.O.
During
this scene, one astronaut pays with his life
in order to save his comrades. 2-26-2000
