Mars Movies
(Red Planet, M2M
& Mars IMAX 3D)
Reviews of this section will be made
as information becomes available. Currently, a major web-site
is in the works for the two Summer of 2000 movies. There's
also a sub-section in the works for MARS IMAX 3D, but not
for awhile since the movie doesn't come out for TWO years.

Mission to Mars
A
logo has appeared online that seems to be from the movie M2M.
This would appear to be the logo that the astronauts would
wear on their uniforms on the long MISSION TO MARS.

Red Planet
An interview with Benjamin Bratt gleans some interesting information
about the upcoming movie RED PLANET. For example, the scenes
that takes place on Earth occur in Egypt, as opposed to Cape
Canaveral or Houston. Also, we learn that the character that
Benjamin plays is an air force lieutenant.

Red Planet
The
official web-site for the movie RED PLANET has launched, in
two places. Right now, it's nothing more than a logo, but
it's worth checking out anyway. Thanks goes to the Val
Kilmer Newsletter.

M2M
"Hollywood
Pictures' MISSION TO MARS" is cosponsoring Planetfest
'99 (December 3-5). This year's Planetfest is scheduled to
coincide with the "Mars Polar Lander" touching down
on the south pole of Mars.
My guess is that there will be some images from the movie
M2M shown at the "Planetfest", if not actual scenes
from the film.
The above logo was pulled from the Planetfest web-site.
