The Forever War 3

Another drawing/painting done for the "Forever War". This painting was completed after doing several preliminarily drawings of Mandella, Cortez and a Tauren. Interestingly enough, Cortez didn't make it into the final painting – I think I felt that he didn't work with the composition of this drawing. This was completed over a summer break between classes when I really should have been at the beach but decided to paint instead. I think this was supposed to be a poster for a "Forever War" movie – you'll notice the tagline I thought would go with the movie, "Experience 1997 Like Never Before", under the painting.

This drawing and painting are a pretty good representation of my skills as of six years ago. 04/21/02
