Satellite Safari is a fun phone app
Whenever I go out observing the night sky I always see a random satellite or two. I wanted to know the names of what I was seeing so I downloaded the Satellite Safari app. The app identifies everything overhead right now as well as in the past or future. The feature I like the most is that the app has the name of the satellite as well as when other information like when it was launched and other interesting details.

Why not a Logan’s Run remake?
I’m surprised that the movie Logan’s Run hasn’t been remade yet. Not that it’s a great film or anything, though I do dig it, it’s just that it’d be a movie where ALL the actors would be under the age of 30, 21 if they go by the book. And isn’t that the age range that practically EVERY movie is marketed towards these days?

PW: I had no idea what that movie was about, I still don’t, but I had a ball making it. They presented it at Lincoln Center a few years ago. [John] Lithgow and I went, and we admitted there that we had no idea what we were doing. It’s a miracle, that movie, just a miracle.
