Here is some neat concept art from the TV series Falling Skies.
In a conference call to discuss the network’s new fall schedule, ABC Entertainment Group President Paul Lee said multiple Marvel projects are in active development. (Both ABC and Marvel are under the umbrella of The Walt Disney Company.)
“Of course we’re immensely proud to be in a company with ‘The Avengers,'” Lee said. “The Hulk is in development. It wasn’t going to be ready for this season but we hope will be ready for next season.”
Lee also acknowledged development on an unnamed Marvel project for Fox (most likely “The Punisher”).
via ABC chief updates Incredible Hulk, Jessica Jones, more from Marvel.
Interesting that the covers for the Dark Horse digital comic for Falling Skies: The Battle of Fitchburg A) doesn’t seem to have anything to do with Fitchburg, Massachusetts but B), shows events outside the Falling Skies TV series and in other places like Argentina and The UK.
Someone at the CW must really, really like Oliver Queen. After a multi-year stint as a supporting character on the long-running Smallville, the television network has promoted Green Arrow to star status with the announcement of a series order for the hour-long show Arrow.
EW has posted several posters to the upcoming season of Falling Skies. I dig the “Hold Your Ground” tagline.
