Warner Bros Plans More ‘I Am Legend’ With Will Smith
Warner Bros has closed deals with Akiva Goldsman and Overbrook Entertainment to do another installment of I Am Legend, the 2007 hit film. The intention is for Will Smith to reprise his role as scientist Robert Neville, who was the last man on Earth doing battle with a mutated mob in New York City after an apocalyptic man-made virus wiped out the population.

Summer Movie Preview
I always find that the best way to beat the mid-winter blues is to think about the upcoming slate of Summer movies. First up next summer is The Avengers, out May 4. The Avengers is a sort of super-group of super-heroes with Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), The Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) teaming together to fight some gigantic evil no one hero can defeat alone.

Why You Couldn’t Watch British TV at 6pm Until 1957
Turn on the TV at 6:00 this evening and you’ll find the local news, SportsCenter, or perhaps an old Seinfeld rerun. But until this day in 1957, British TVs at 6:00pm wouldn’t show a thing. Thanks to a post-war BBC policy known as the “toddlers’ truce,” stations would not broadcast between 6:00 and 7:00 in the evening to give parents a chance to put their children to sleep before the evening programming.
