Let’s not forget that the upcoming Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV series is Marvel’s second attempt at turning S.H.I.E.L.D. into a series. The first was the truly terrible TV movie Nick Fury: Agent of Shield on Fox in 1998. In fact, I think the Nick Fury movie was Marvel’s last attempt at live action TV up until the new Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
