Or
was there any turmoil at all?
Then again, if you believe
what's coming out of the studio, then the above
report's got to be false.

Sizemore sees red over rift reports
By Stephen Schaefer, Special for USA

LOS ANGELES - Tom Sizemore may be one of Hollywood's
most dependable tough guys in movies like Saving
Private Ryan and Bringing Out the Dead, but he wants
the world to know that despite articles to the contrary,
there were no fights with Val Kilmer on the set
of Red Planet.
"This
is ridiculous! There was no restraining order!"
- as alleged in a tabloid - Sizemore says. "Val
and I are friends. A lot of people say nasty things
about him . . . We did Heat, and he was sweet to
me. We're together (in Red Planet) from Page 6 to
the end, every day, for 16 hours. And we've had
a really good time. "
Kilmer
concurs. "The idea that Tom and I have taken
out restraining orders . . . is completely untrue.
I have known Tom for many years and have the utmost
respect for him as a person and actor."
Red
Planet, which co-stars Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix)
and Benjamin Bratt, opens June 16.
Sizemore,
35, now in Play It to the Bone, has had his on-set
difficulties, including a tussle with Marc Anthony
in Bringing Out the Dead. "Warner Bros. decided
it would be better if we all just didn't comment
on any of this. But thetabloids have just gone on
and on. I think it's because they just like (the
headline) 'Star Wars' - anything with Star Wars
is hot again."
