MISSION TO MARS, Image from the Set

The image and below commentary appeared yesterday over at the Dark Horizons web site. It marks the first real image to be released for the movie MISSION TO MARS, although the teaser poster for the movie was released a few weeks ago.

FYI: The image looks like it's depicting the destroyed habitat of the first "Mission to Mars". When viewing the photo, note the damaged satellite(?) dishes in the foreground of the image. My guess is that the mountains, trees and blue sky will be removed in post production ;-) 9/17/99

Mission to Mars: Marlon Brando's spa? Could be. As a matter of fact though this is an image from the set of the Brian DePalma sci-fi thriller "Mission to Mars". Vancouver newspaper 'The Province' visited the set where it snapped this picture, and thanks to 'Stacey' for scanning in and sending the shot.
