NOT THAT ANGRY
Everyone
hasn't gone to the moon, they've gone to Mars! We have Ted Tally's
MISSION TO MARS which has been shooting for over a month,
now, with Gary Sinise, Tim Robbins, Don Cheadle, Connie Nielsen
and Jerry O'Connell in the Brian De Palma film about the first manned
mission to Mars which gets stranded on the Angry Red Planet. We
have two James Cameron projects about Mars, one is a TV mini-series
directed by Martha Coolidge not based on the Kim Stanley Robinson
MARS TRILOGY (RED, GREEN, BLUE) the other is an IMAX
3-D MARS experience. Plus we have the Warner Bros. film MARS
written by Chuck Pfarrer and Jonathan Lemkin, starring Val Kilmer,
Carrie-Anne Moss, Tom Sizemore, and Simon Baker in the story of
the only survivor of a Mars mission who uncovers a frightening truth
about the war planet... and only his ex-wife Carrie-Anne Moss can
save him! That's almost the same plot as the Disney flick... But
it looks like Warner Bros. blinked. They have changed the title
of their film to RED PLANET to avoid confusion. There is
no truth to the rumor that Les Tremayne has been added to the cast
of the Warner Bros. film. All four MARS films will be shot
in bleem-o-vision.
